دعای ندبه یکی از دعاهای پرمحتوا و دارای مضامین عالیه در زمینه امامشناسی و ولایت است. این پژوهش با شیوه توصیفی تحلیلی محتوای دعای ندبه به بررسی سیمای پیامبر اکرم و اهل بیت (ع) ایشان در این دعا پرداخته است و به این نتیجه دست یافته است که دعای ندبه دارای نظم و ترتیب دقیقی است که با حمد و صلوات الهی شروع میشود، بعد از آن به موضوع انبیای الهی اشاره نموده و از ارسال رسولان یعنی از آدم تا خاتم سخن به میان میآورد و پس از طرح نقش تاریخی انبیایی که از آنها سخن گفته، ما را متوجه نقش تاریخی حضرت محمد (ص) نموده و در همین راستا از جانشینی بلافصل حضرت علی (ع) و نیز جایگاه ویژه اهل بیت بحث میکند که دقت در مطالب والای این دعا ما را متوجه سرنوشت جامعه بدون توجه به جایگاه هدایتی اهل بیت در طی کردن مسیر هدایت می کند.
