Abstract
More than anything else, rationality is a description of being rational; Both in the reasonable behavior of activists and in the reasonable logic of scholars, reasonable behavior and reasonable logic rests on human shoulders, which has both a beginning and an end. Is it in the field of social sciences? Then, he will recognize this concept in the eyes of one of the thinkers of this field, namely "Max Weber".Weber considers the main factor of building a modern civilization to be a goal-oriented rational action, and offers a definition of rationality that is confined to the life of the world, and in his opinion, the existence of such rationality is the condition of a modern civilization and basically becoming modern. This is despite the fact that Allameh Tabatabai, the contemporary philosopher of the Islamic world, not only does not accept this meaning of rationality, but based on his credit theory, he defines a concept of rationality that is not only universal and confined to this world, but also a signifier of worldly and hereafter happiness. It is human beings and it can be considered as a strategy for building Islamic civilization.
