Predicting optimism and life satisfaction based on Islamic lifestyle in married women visiting the Yaqtin Community Health Center in Shiraz

Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of predicting optimism and life satisfaction based on the Islamic lifestyle of married women visiting the Yaghteen Community Health Center in Shiraz. The statistical population of this research included married women visiting the Yaghteen Community Health Center in Shiraz, of whom 200 individuals who visited during the first quarter of 2017 were selected through convenience sampling and completed the life satisfaction, optimism, and Islamic lifestyle questionnaires. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and stepwise regression methods. The results of the study indicated that the Islamic lifestyle has a positive and significant correlation with optimism and life satisfaction. In other words, the more Islamic the lifestyle, the higher the life satisfaction and optimism. According to the research findings, strengthening and promoting the Islamic lifestyle in society will lead to increased life satisfaction and optimism.
