Guide for Authors

Guide to preparing and submitting articles

 

  1. The article must be at the scientific-research level.
  2. The article is the result of studies, experiences and research of the author (or authors).
  3. The submitted article must not have been sent or printed to any publication (domestic or foreign) before.
  4. The volume of the submitted article with references, tables and figures should be a maximum of 20 pages.
  5. The line spacing should be 1/15.
  6. The article should be written using Word software (2007 and 2010 editions). For the Farsi text, use Mitra B font with 13 font and for the English text, use Times New Roman font and 12 font according to the criteria listed in this guide.
  7. The names of the authors should not be included in the submitted file of the article and should be sent separately.
  8. All formulas should be typed only with Word software. All tables, curves, figures and charts should be black and white, accurate, clear and original. Tables and graphs should be completely Persian. The graphs should not be in the form of photos (original and clear) and the horizontal and vertical titles of the graphs should be written only in Farsi. All images must be 300 dpi resolution, jpg format and printable quality. All tables and graphs should be serially numbered and set by inserting their specifications and sources at the top of the table or graph. The table number should be in the text of the article.

 

 

 

 

The structure of the article should be set as follows:

Title.

  1. Abstract of the article: including the topic, theoretical framework, research methodology and the results of the article in a compact form, between 150 and 300 words.
  2. Immediately after the abstract (Persian), a list of "key words" should be added. Try to write only the main "vocabulary" of the article in this list, and their number is usually 3 to 7 concepts.
  3. Introduction: including the definition of the subject, problem statement, and stating the objectives and the necessity of conducting the research.
  4. Background investigation: previous research, topic and theoretical framework, and research questions/or hypotheses.
  5. Main text: The topic should be clearly analyzed, which can include the following components: methodology, presentation of findings, analysis and interpretation.
  6. Summary and conclusion.

List of Persian and English sources:

Use the APA standard for referencing and indexing. References in the text of the article should be given in parentheses as (last name, year: page). In the text of the article, according to APA principles, when you mention the name of a (foreign) author for the first time, footnote its Latin title. If the author has collaborators (up to four) write their surnames and footnote them. If there are more than five people with the author, write the author's name and then use the word colleagues;

 

The following pattern should be used in citing sources:

  • The list of separate sources should be given in alphabetical order (first Persian and then English) and refrain from repeating sources
  • Authored book: surname, name. (year of publication). The name of the book. Place of publication: Publisher.
  • Article: last name, first name, first name, last name (year of publication). Title. Publication name, period or volume, (publication number): article page number. The reference should be complete with the number and year of publication and the page number, and avoid writing the word "and others" in the Persian reference and similar things in the Latin reference.
  • Translated book: last name, author's name. (compilation year). The name of the book is in Farsi. Name Surname of the translator. Place of publication: name of the publisher.
  • Collection of articles: surname, name. (year of publication) Title. Name Surname (collector). The title of the collection of articles. Year, page number
  • Notes should be given as footnotes.

 

Notice

  1. The submitted article must be sent through the existing system after the author's registration on the quarterly website.
  2. The received articles are evaluated by the referees of the journal and the final acceptance is subject to the approval of the editor and the editorial board of Hiyafat Farhang Dini.
  3. After receiving and reviewing the articles, the result of judging and evaluating the article will be notified to the respected author/authors in the system electronically.
  4. The editorial board of the magazine is free to edit the article (without changing the content).
  5. Submitted articles will not be returned.
  6. The quarterly is not allowed to accept articles that are not prepared according to the mentioned criteria.
