Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the educational role of the clergy in reducing social corruption. Corruption is formed as an ominous phenomenon in society and with its continuous growth, it creates obstacles in the way of human progress and development.The present article, with a descriptive-analytical approach, while rooting out the causes of corruption, offers effective solutions in reducing social corruption and puts the main focus of the discussion on the importance and effectiveness of clerics and seminarians. Understanding the roots of corruption and examining its various dimensions and scope of action is the best way to deal with this dangerous phenomenon. Strengthening piety and self-control as well as strengthening social supervision are two effective ways to control and reduce social corruption. In this regard, the talents of the seminary and clerics can be used well to guide and arrest the spiritual and strengthen the cultural and moral strength. To achieve a desirable society, play their effective role.
